The New Year is upon us – an end to another decade. This wedding at Langley AFB is the perfect way to end the year! I have some very distinct memories of this day for so many reasons. First is just how freakin’ adorable Cora and Andrew are together. After meeting them for their engagement session, I just knew they were going to make their wedding day so sweet and special. Then there is the awesome sword arch – a first for me! And when they lip-synced the last song of the night to each other I was just swooning!
There was also, of course, the fact that it was SOOOOOOOO hot that day (I even ended up with heat exhaustion after portraits and was so thankful to be in the A/C for the reception at Bayview Commonwealth Center!).
Note to future clients (and myself!): Summer weddings can be so much fun, but they can also be crazy hot! Prepare adequately!

Andrew’s VMI buddies all doing a school chant – I couldn’t hear them all clearly enough to know exactly what they were chanting, but it was really cool to watch!
