Senior portraits are so much fun! I love meeting all these new adults and learning what their different plans are for the future. Riley already has a great job and career ahead of him – I know that his parents are beyond proud of his determination and work ethic.
I don’t get asked to do senior pictures very often, but they are one of my favorite types of sessions to do! I love the freedom working with young adults gives me to get creative and go out of the box to get some really unique shots. Guys aren’t always super stoked about being in front of a camera, but they want to do what Mom wants:) However, at the end of our session, Riley was so happy with the few images he saw on the back of the camera, he couldn’t wait to get the full gallery back, and Mom was very pleased with the results too!
We met at the Trail office at First Landing State Park for this Virginia Beach Senior portrait session, where I found some really nice light to work with. Then we hopped in the cars and drove across to the beach access for a few more shots. Although it was pretty hot out, we still had a great time chatting and finding cool spots to shoot in.
