I can’t believe that the summer is almost over. I’m pretty sure July only lasted a week! I feel like I barely got to enjoy it, but I’m so excited for the fall. The crisp morning air, the beautiful leaves changing color, and chilly evenings make Fall my absolute favorite of all the seasons.
Along with that beautiful weather comes the second round of wedding season, along with gorgeous engagement and family sessions. In fact, I love the fall so much that’s when my husband and I got married – just so we could have the perfect excuse to visit the mountains in the fall!
A Fort Monroe Engagement Session
The beauty and versatility of Fort Monroe won again as the perfect location for Lisa & Rey’s engagement session this past spring. Rey is stationed in Hampton and he and his adorable fiancé reached out to me for these photos. I love working with all the military we have here in Hampton Roads so I was very excited to make their vision a reality.
We spent some time near the Casemate Museum and then worked our way out to the beach to finish up. All of these Fort Monroe engagement photos turned out so well! I love all of the different varieties of backgrounds and light.
