Williamsburg Winery Wedding
I simply cannot believe that 2017 is almost over, especially since here I am just now blogging weddings from the fall! One of my New Year’s resolutions, or promises to myself, is to blog these within two weeks of the wedding, starting with tomorrow’s wedding (posts will be a little out of order, but I MUST start now!). Today I get to remember the awesome time I had at Cecilia and Luis’s Williamsburg Winery wedding in September. This is such a beautiful venue, and their new(ish) side room is perfect for an indoor ceremony and we used it to its fullest potential since the weather was typical of late Summer in Virginia – hot, muggy, and sticky! We did venture outdoors for a quick first look, but everyone wanted to move back in after about 5 minutes of that!
Cecilia and Luis’s engagement session was this past Spring where we had an awesome time getting to know each other and making some beautiful images. The wedding was just as fun as the engagement session. The two of them are so sweet together and you can truly see the love they have for each other. We could have taken portraits of these two all night – except we had to let them enjoy their reception of course!
The romantic theme of the wedding itself fit their relationship perfectly, but the reception was a pure representation of their lives and their personalities. I was in pure awe at how amazing everyone was at salsa dancing and DJ Dorian from the Mambo Room had all the perfect songs for them to get their groove on with! Cecilia and Luis met while out dancing, and they rocked it during their first dance – I don’t think either of them stopped dancing all night.
Cecilia and Luis – you guys are beautiful together, and with your little Ms. S, make the perfect little family. Thank you so much for having me capture these memories for you and I wish you a wonderful, loving life together!
