I can’t help but be a huge fan of young love! Kayla and Luke first met in elementary school years ago, and are now planning their wedding for a couple months after college ends. I’m sure when they met in second grade they definitely didn’t know that they would end up as husband and wife, but here they are. And they are so cute! I was so caught up in their interactions, I often forgot to talk and direct them – as if I wasn’t even really there! Both their smiles and their intimacy shined naturally, even in front of the camera.
These two love to walk around Colonial Williamsburg, so it was only fitting that we did their engagement session there. The light was so perfect, it was easy to find several places to use as backgrounds. I’m so glad I got the chance to spend this time with Kayla and Luke before their wedding this summer – I just know we are going to make some amazing wedding images at Yorktown Beach to go with these engagements!
