As I’m still catching up on blogging the wedding and engagement sessions from the end of the year (ugh!), I am so happy to finally be blogging this moody fall engagement session at Mariner’s Museum Park. The thick cloud cover created a very beautiful, dramatic look in these images – but it made all of the gorgeous fall colors really pop! So many trees were at their peak fall color and Carrie and Jeremy picked the perfect colors in their wardrobe to compliment the season.
When they first contacted me, these two were struggling to find a reliable photographer with a great eye, within their budget, making my packages perfect for them! They both know my husband through work, so I was even more excited to be able to work with them. Not only does Jeremy have the same laid-back personality that my husband does, he really loves this sweet girl – you can see it in every photo!
Carrie had told me about a previous experience with another photographer that left Jeremy feeling very apprehensive about engagement and wedding photos, but, by the end of our session, he was confident and having fun! My engagement sessions are fun and easy – never any stressful posing, and always a good bit of laughter😊 I really love getting to work with my clients before the wedding – it takes a huge weight off of everyone’s shoulders and gives you more confidence on the big day! (Click to read more about the benefits of an engagement session.)
I had a great time working with them for this fall engagement session and I cannot wait to capture these two all dolled up in their wedding gear at Two Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg (an absolutely gorgeous venue – check out some of their wedding images @trccweddings!).
